The Oasis My inspiration for this piece of work is my own world and minds. A lot of the times i get in my spacesuit only to enter into another universe. I find myself escaping reality very often into places only my mind can take me so that I dont have to worry about reality. Or if you touch something for the first time in a while will the sensation be so intense that it could be perceived or felt different than before. “In University of Illinois primate experiments, researchers found that a lack of touch produced brain damage.” (p. 76)

At times it almost feels like people can only talk over the phone. The man in this piece is in distress the blue water is representative of the words he would like to speak but they fall to the ground. He cant get what he wants to say out. The hollowness of his head shows that his head is becoming more and more empty of the things that matter like in person human interaction.
