A few of my favorite things


1.) Crocheted flower pouch: This little bag was gifted to me by an ex girlfriend that I had taken very much for granted at the time. She cared about me with all her heart and I know she invested time and patience in making this gift as she did with me, I will not forget her. 

2.) Model 1999 Harley Davidson Fat Boy: This was given to me at birth by my father at birth. It is my favorite motorcycle model and it has been in my room since the day I got it. No matter where I have lived I have always taken it with me. 

3.) Amethyst Stone: This stone is known for bringing good dreams and it was gifted to me by a good friend that I hold near and dear to my heart. Purple is also one of my favorite colors and I love the way it sits on my shelf. 

4.) Small Cactus: This cactus is probably the easiest plant in the world to take care and that is why I love it so much, If this plant dies on my watch then I would feel like the worst person in the world. I think I have actually only watered it once the whole time I have had it. 

5.) R2D2 Action figure: Growing up my family and I watched so much Star Wars. I still watch a lot of star wars to current date and R2D2 has always been my favorite character. Sometimes his attitude and character reminds me of myself. He is bipolar, makes rash decisions, he is smart and somehow life always works out for him.

Memento

  "safe in here" Marble, wood, wood stain.  3" x 1.5" x 1 Growing up with adhd was one of the hardest things I had to overcome. The constant need for stimulation was crippling and affected me and those around me. One of my favorite pastimes was playing with marbles and climbing trees in order to feel stimulated. This sculpture embodies all of the things i used to love as a little boy and reminds me of all the times I would escape to climb a tree and my obsession of holding and playing with marbles which gave me comfort.
